OverlordMao 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 This has bugged me often before, How does any game player remember what to do to continue a game? What I mean is, you play any game and get deep into the story line, stop for several days (for unknown reasons :shifty: ), the goes back to playing said game and is in the middle of a confusing puzzle. How do they remember what to do for the puzzle? Of course, the puzzle can be replaced with anything for the game, but the point still stands. How is any game you make going to deal with this kind of a game problem, 'cause whenever I hit this problem I normally just restart the game, losing all items and levels I spent several hours trying to get. :sweatdrop: If its any concern, I've seen ways that this has been countered is a few games before. In any of the MMBN (Megaman Battle Network) games, all you have to do is push the L button, and the game gives you a "hint" on what to do. In several (most) Sonic the Hedgehog games, its just strait forward gameplay, Start the stage, gather rings, clear a few puzzles, reach the end of the act or battle a boss, enter new stage, rinse, repeat. Infact, most games have it as just strait forward gameplay, now that I think about it... ( :shok: )
