• SuperMulti DVD burner with LightScribe technology

• Blu-ray Disc player

• ATI RadeonTM HD 4650 graphics card with DVI, HDMI and VGA

capabilities and support for Blu-ray1 and Microsoft® DirectX® 10.1.

expansion.

• Top-positioned power button enables convenient use

• Press the HP Easy Backup button and instantly back-up your files

• Keeps peripherals safe on the landing pad for electronic devices

• Backed by HP's award-winning Total Care support and services

LightScribe-enabled CD and DVD discs.

• The built-in TV tuner and personal video recorder (PVR) let you watch, pause, rewind, and record live television - with no monthly

BYOC (Build your own computer)

Trust me, in the end you will find it so much more satisfying, cheaper, and if you ever have troubles, no calling HP for a 5 hour service call. Just print out a Warranty Slip from the part's manufacturer, and mail it on its way. You'll have a replacement in no time.

IMO - AMDs are sh*t

They are subpar when compared to Intels. Sure, Intel Chips cost more, but there is a reason, they are better! Besides, its harder to mod/upgrade a pre-built PC.

You own your own server, so I believe that you are smart enough to build a desktop :)

1) Trust me, in the end you will find it so much more satisfying, cheaper, and if you ever have troubles, no calling HP for a 5 hour service call. Just print out a Warranty Slip from the part's manufacturer, and mail it on its way. You'll have a replacement in no time.

1) 5 hour service call...when I can fix it myself. My PS3 broke and I ordered a new "mother board" and it works fine, even increased it's GB to 250. Of this was not cheap. So it matters not prebuilt or not. I have used and owned both and they worked fine; it's all on how you maintain them.

2) AMDs are not shit. Both my desktops I own (PC and MAC) both use a AMD well my laptops use intell. Again it's all about maintaining your stuff properly.

3) Why buy a server when I can build one from the ground up?

1) Sure, you can fix it yourself, but like you said, you bought a new MoBo. If it wasn't misuse, there was no reason for you to buy a new one

2) Like I said IMO. I wasn't trying to make you angry, I was expressing my opinion. And, one man's trash...

3) I think you misunderstood me. I was stating that you own your own server. I know this, I lurked in SephSpawn's forums. I was saying that I take you to be intelligent and computer savvy, and with this being the case: "you are smart enough to build a desktop :)" I was just trying to save you money, and allow you to pick ANY part you want, since it is easy to do so when building your own. If HP's prebuilt fits your specs, then go for, BUT by building one you have an infinite number of choices for every component.

1) There is nothing wrong with my MAC PC I just own both to create programs that work on both and my Laptop (non MAC) has two OS Window Vista and Lynix. No misunderstanding just adding it.

2) Not angry.

3) just stated if for informational perposes.
