The only two videos of it don't even show the editor, just random gameplay. Who want's to see gameplay?

It won't be anywhere near as good as XP but they aren't exactly for the same types of things. Its not exactly a serious game maker..or at least I wouldnt I think so. You dont use a console to make a serious game, do you?

 

I think they'll release a patch for the english version, like they did with postility knights. Probably be able to use it on an emulator. But that's illegal so I know none of you will consider that :)

And continue to make money...must be doing something right. You may not like it but I know a whole community who is dedicated to ONLY the CONSOLE versions of RPG Maker.

Well...maybe it will have some neat little features, like allowing you to port your game over onto the Wii...That would be nice, I'll keep an eye on it for now.

I would buy a DS for just this game if... you could actually sprite your own material such as characters and tilesets, otherwise it's a no buy for me.

I've played all of the console rpg makers at one point or another and i've hated them all, only the psx rpg maker had a little something going for it with the character maker, but that wasn't good enough (for me anyway).

 

Hopefully you can at least sprite characters here too?

I can't confirm that you can use your own sprites, but I'm think there must be a way since they have been posting resources in the enterbrain blog:
