The Elder Scrolls Series

Hey all,

I've recently started playing The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind again, and I must say, I forgot how amazing it was. I've also dug up an old Elder Scrolls fanfic I started working on a while ago, and never got around to finishing...Now that I remembered that I started it, I'm going to finish it. I'm also going to start modding for Morrowind, so if you have any mod requests, please tell me...I could use some inspiration :P

 

Anyways, I want to know which game of the Elder Scrolls series is your favorite, if any. You are allowed to choose multiple answers, and the poll IS public, so in case you're like me and are an Elder Scrolls fanatic, you can choose all of em :D

Well, I played only in the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion + addon Shivering Isles on PC. This game - a real must have. A lot of ideas from this game I focus in my projects. So if anyone has this game - it is the real thing.

I agree, the elder scrolls series is awesome, one of the best game series ever invented.

Don't get me wrong, I like the series and I'm still playing Oblivion (I personally think Morrowind sucked.)

but eventually the game gets boring kinda quick. I pretty much did every quest except for the Mage's Guild questline (The Dark Brotherhood questline is my favorite.). I'm also not really sucked into the game world as much as say other RPGs because of either the lack of emotion or the inconsistent moods from the NPCs.

 

I could actually make a list of things I think is wrong with the game. But no game is perfect, and I still like the amount of freedom the game has to offer.

I loved the shivering isles expansion a lot. I really wish I had a decent PC so I could mod it, but alas.

I'm a big fan of morrowind because if it had oblivion graphics it would be a better game in my opinion. It was so outstanding for its time but i'd say for most people it would be to complicated and they would play the game for the actual story. most people were like ooo a guard. *slices guard in back ninja style*. Has anyone ever actually beat it without and shortcuts just straight through?
