Guest Mar Report post Posted February 21, 2007 I haven't check it yet, but I know for experience that battle system with events are very hard to create (to much events, conditions and other stuff...). Sorry, but I prefer the normal system, which is simple to use and easy to modify. However, from the screens it seems nice. Mar
Arkbennett 16 Report post Posted February 21, 2007 Nice, I know how much of a pain those can be, especially eventing the numbers in there. Easy, but time consuming.

Also i need help with setting up defense how would i do that?
Arkbennett 16 Report post Posted February 23, 2007 Sorry buddy, You can't exactly link it up to the monsters in the Database without scripting, Monsters HP and other attributes are all gonna half to be set-up via variables. It won't be to bad. (Unless you try making a ATB and slowly come to realize your going to need over 22 Variables and start crying because of the amount of work and go practically insane and start sacrificing smalls animals in an attempt to call to the RMXP gods to do the work for you, but after 2 hours they havn't contacted you, you go ballastic and start smashing your neighbors windows only to be arrested and be raped by some guy named "cookie" in prison. Then come home with an asshole resized 6 inchs, stripped of your dignity, and have not gotton anywhere with the ATB project.)

Guest Mar Report post Posted February 24, 2007 Sorry, but I don't understand (I know English but not so good to understand all the things you say...). Can you explain me again what do you want to do with monsters HP? Maybe I can help you... Mar
Arkbennett 16 Report post Posted February 24, 2007 For the monsters correct? Just make it. Using the variable command of tab one, Under "variable" select the variable you want to use. (i.e. 001: Monster A Hp) Under "operand" select set. Under "operator" set up the amount of hp you want monsters a to have.
