Resource Requests. (Updated 8/16/10)

I'm not putting my...whatever amount of money I spent on this thing to waste (I forget the price, bite me, lol). I've been trying and trying to nab help with resources and scripts, got very little last time and was close to giving up. (Mistery Planet was wiped by a virus, and Nightmare was deleted from me almost giving up) Once I did find some help, those people for some odd reason just vanished and I never hear from them ever again...kinda just depresses me when someone does that to me. At least some people on here actually helped me out...Well, last chance for Nightmare...so.

 

RESOURCES!!!!...Don't ask, lol.

 

1. Need a sound effect of a record scratching needle, like you would hear in some comedy cartoon or something when the music stops, lol. Kiriashi was gonna help me make them again since I lost them to that virus a while back...but I doubt it, help me. xD

 

2. (Updated) I'm thinking of having a special "boss defeated" animation, where the animation differs than regular enemies when they are defeated. I'm wanting a mix of the animation from Chrono Trigger and Bowser's Inside Story...where the screen flashes twice with some sound effect and the boss battler graphic becomes transparent and has this weird ripple-like effect (where the screen flashes once more), then the graphic appears to have light bursting out (like in Bowser's Inside Story), then the light blasts out covering the screen and everything returns to normal with the boss gone. When I get the chance I may post videos of the two defeat animation from both games in case you don't understand yet. (in the past I did say I would post videos but I never got around to doing so to make this description more clear, seeing how I'm currently on Spring break, I'll have time to hunt down whatever)

I couldn't find an "on-screen" video for a Chrono Trigger DS (DS version is supposed to look better anyway) boss defeated animation. So the sound and video quality isn't that good, but whatever, lol.

As for the final part based off this one, the video is on-screen, but is long...then again the intro (before the boss) is actually kinda funny since its a Mario and Luigi game. (this is also one of my favorite bosses, hopefully I'll be able to base one off of this guy in my RPG) Sadly, the sound is a bit choppy on some parts...sucks, but whatever.

3. Well, like Agckuu has said, they aren't the best, but they're good for now....and seeing how he left, I figured I'll say this. If you think you can make better sprites of the ones he made, lemme know please. I'll post pics/battler graphics of the characters that I'm needing later.

 

4. Battle Graphic of Jill, well...you're better off PM'ing me on this one, basically I need someone who can create anime-styled characters, or knows a site with anime girls based off the sprite and description I'll give you.

 

5. And, lastly, I need some tileset that can represent the inside of a computer, virtually. Like, cyber-world or something. Make it fancy/flashy, lol. I was hoping for something like a neon-styled map like you see on Moonside from EarthBound, but kinda figured that it wouldn't look right...so I'll just stick with something like a high-tech scifi building. Nut still make sure to make it look like as if you were in a virtual computer world.

 

 

At the moment I can't think of anything else, and yes for the most part this was from my last thread that I had Pol delete. Figured I'll try again start fresh with the request threads. (that and it seemed no one was paying any attention to the thread anyway...)

It allows you to insert a text, choose a voice, a pitch and a speed, then listen to the voice saying it. You will need some kind of recording software though

Probably...and if not, I could always alter it in Audacity to make the pitch deeper or higher

I? Almost everything. By the way, the Star-wars intro... I have MorphVox and a pair of video editor, then I can try to make you a intro with the help of Photoshop.

Alright, well I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to be wanting that worked out though, was hoping to have it play out normally when the time comes and after it finishes it immediately scrolls down to an map showing myself staring up at the clear sky at night for some odd reason, lol. (told you Nightmare is going to be random. XD)

I actually like this idea of awful maps on purpose. They really do bring imagery to the nightmare.

6. (New) I'm not sure if this could be done or not, but I'm trying to figure out how to do a Star Wars-like intro. Where the summary is scrolling up in space and it looks 3D-ish and all that, also...which episode do you think is the best to use during this part?

Photoshop with using vectors.

If you have photoshop i could write up a little tutorial.(As soon as i figure it out lol(Shouldn't be to hard, just learned it in photoshop class))

 

Then use a show picture and move picture upwards and wala, star wars effect.

...I'm gonna bump this...Nightmare won't stay out of my mind, lol. Seeing how I actually deleted most of the stuff, I'm gonna have to start from scratch (again)...though I do still have some sprites and battlers. I might make some changes to the first post soon, I'm hoping to get something done this time, and soon...seeing how school is starting towards the end of this month. (and one of the classes is gonna be tough for me)
