There are some many different types of battle systems that can be used with the RPG Maker if you have the right scripts. I prefer the basic side screen system. It is simple and easy to use. But I played a really great game called Tactics Ogre Knight of Lodis :biggrin_002: , which uses the tactical battle system, it's one of my favorites games.
