Yes, that's right! It is finally here! Awesome right? I thought so too. But the rewrite is finally done and I can stop going backwards in progress and go forward!

So, almost everything has been redone and reimplemented into Beta 2, but there are some changes:

A new Queue system has been created. It's still a bit buggy in detections and what not, but overall it'll work.

Terms don't show right now, Beta 3 will have a fix for that.

There are no custom themes (sorry ShinyToyGuns).

Requirements/Prerequisites:

When you first run Pool, you need to open the Settings Dialog, and press the Download Database button. It will download and install the database. Beta 3 will do this automatically.

This program must be run as Administrator if you install it in Program Files (Vista and 7). If you just extract it to your Desktop, you shouldn't have any issues.

That's about all I can think of right now.

Download it here: RMXP Pool.zip

I'm so gleeful I could kiss you! :)

Isn't it suppose to generate a preview of what I'm gonna download? :>

Only if a preview is supplied to it. The INI file holds URL's to two images (max), so if they're there, then it will. Also, there's some settings that will determine whether or not it will download preview images, make sure that's enabled :)

How do I do that? I went to options and I guess what I did was update....

EDIT:

Nevermind >.>

The download buttons are working for the tileset area...I really want the Savannah! :)

I may preview them, but I can't download them. The button says I already have (I haven't, I assure you) and now it won't let me download :(

I did download something else on it, but I have no idea where it was sent >.<

Check your My Documents -> Downloaded Data folder. I should have placed something to let you know where it downloads.

EDIT: The Button will only show that if you have in fact downloaded it. There's no other way for it to do that, literally.

As in on my drive right? I'll check there....is there a way if I can't find it, to find the savanna tileset? I really need it >.>

It should be there because the program won't knowingly glitch something like that up. I just tested it myself and it downloaded just fine, even deleted the file and tried again. It didn't error.

EDIT: If it doesn't work, I can always just send you the Tileset :)

It worked! I couldn't remember which drive I installed to. I found it, thanks so much for explaining this to a novice >.>

Will there be a way to submit things in the future?

Maybe, maybe not. I'm not really sure yet. If there is, it'll be rather interesting to see how we'd pull it off, and how secure it'd be. And no problem, the program isn't always clear as to where I have it store the files, but this version handles things a lot better than it used to :)

Absolutely brilliant Formless! I love the new downloading system and how the screenies are now processed. I can't wait to see how good it will be when themes are available. I will now be releasing this on the RMXP Pool website.

Glad you like it cabbage! The new system took forever to get running...but I got it working finally :biggrin_002:

Work on Beta 3 will pick up later on....I'm taking a small break from the big effort I put into getting Beta 2 out.
