I have made a system of events where u push z to control another party you use the parties to complete goals this system seams to be working fine but I don't know how to improve it or what to use it for besides simple puzzles

You could do something like they did in Majoras mask, where you have to complete a trial in a set time limit while switching between two people. I'm not quite sure how you programmed "z" into the script... but I'm a noob so...

 

I would just use it for puzzles like you said, to progress through levels.

 

OH! You could use it very little and make the character change between worlds. Like in an old zelda game I seem to recall. Link turned into a bunny when he entered the other world... but the world was different, like another dimension. I'll google it and get back to you. :D

i like the idea where you are one person warping between different places i never though of that thanks

and i got the z button to make you switch be adding an event set to parallel process and added conditionals branch the a button is being pressed
