I'm so happy, because on this momentous day, I have done more on this game than any other game ever! ^v^

 

It's a small demo, there's not much fighting... (If any) I'm actually just proud of myself for getting this far, not knowing practically anything about RPG Maker XP or Ruby. Anyways, here it is, tell me where I could improve or where you think you could help. :3

Plot -

Not a set-in-stone plot yet, just a general outline. Your supposed to stop the world from being re-taken over by a huge Lich.

I would be glad to:) I've never played anyone else's games before.

 

(I'm going in order from which it occured)

 

1) At the begining you see the player before the name input. The way to fix this is to not have a player in the party at first. XP will still let you set a starting position. Then afterwards add the player

 

2)You didnt set the house to have a background music playing, or where it would stay nothing when you returned from outside, instead of continuously playing the music from outside(which i like:)

 

3)The rat thing was able to run on the pond( which is impossible ) and the buildings (impossible) You have to change the tileset passibility settings in the database

 

4) (Might not be a issue) The starfruit wasnt in the inventory after accepting it

 

5) The Merchant Smash refers to the player Leon, which would be wrong if the player chose to change his name.

 

I stuck now in the game so that all i can help you currently:(

 

*I know I heard that music somewhere before . . .

The music is from Legend of Zelda. You did not mention that when you wake up in your bed, if you take a right out of the bed you miss the brother message entirely.

Thank you, I was going to make the screen color tone black, but this seems more efficient. :)

Eh, I was getting to it, didn't seem like a big issue at the time.

Yeah, I was just gonna end up killing them, didn't seem all that aesthetically pleasing

"Smash"? the armor or the weapon guy? Whatever, I'll go through and check it. I made some of the dialouge before I figured out that I could use "\n[001]".

Correct, but it's the cheezy ripped music. I'm not making money from the game, so it's not illegal. :D Gotta love loopholes.

I considered the bed thing while editing the demo. I didn't think it was much of an issue, considering the other side of the bed was less-likely to be walked on. It doesn't matter anyways.
