Icon Set Question

Question

Okay, I have found a great icon set that I want to use. My only problem at this time is

that I want to use most, if not all of the icons in the set, and there's a huge amount

of icons in the set. So the question is:

Does anyone know an easy way to break down an icon set into say.. 125 24x24 images from

one icon set that is 125 icons ??x?? pixels? Or, if you know of a program that can just

do it.

I'd really rather not spend all my time trying to manually copy/paste 125 separate icons

when I could be attempting to make my game. :)

Any info, much appreciated.

Use photoshop and use the grid.

You will have to do it manually because i dont think there are programs that can do it.

If it pleases you, PM the icons and I'll do it for you so you can work on your game.

I appreciate the offer to break down the icons for me, but if its that its gotta get done that

way, I'll just do it myself.

What do you mean use the grid? As in there's an inbuilt grid that you can overlay onto the image?

If so, that should help things some.

EDIT: Okay, Polraudio, you rock. It was right in front of my face with the grid feature. I've been using that program for years, but it never occured to me to set up a grid, and use snap to grid for selection tools. Thanks again man.

Glad it's sorted - I split things by going to the Slices tool in Photoshop, then just right click the image > Divide slices and then it gives you an option to split it by pixels eg. 32x32 pixels or however many slices eg. 10 slices vertically. ;)
