custom menu with only status screen and save/load

Heya all, I have been working with rmxp for quite some time and have gotten a lot of awesome ideas and scripts for some of the stuff I have been working on...but now I have come to a hold up.

 

I need a custom menu system that will have only 3 choices.

 

I would love for the choices to be on the left side and on the right side room for two pictures for the character (only needs to be two)

 

the choices would be:

Status

Save

Quit

 

but here is where the tricky part comes in as I have seen menu systems that use pictures on the right side for example but I need a custom status page.

My game will not be using the basic strength agility etc. it will be using a good 30 different skills from combat skills to cooking. I just need them to be able to show up along with the amount of skill level it has, I will be using events to raise the skills manually so in other words I would need a way to do that too.

 

 

I really hope someone knows a way to do this to really help me out in the making of this awesome game.

So your controlling the extra skills by variables and you want them to be added for each individual character?

Can you draw the layout of the status menu? If you can fit it into a 640x480 image then i will be able to make it.

I can put it into this quite simply...

 

 

 

When you click on status it takes you to a status page where you have for example:

 

Status 1

status 2

status 3

status 4

and so on and so far, status meaning skills like strength agility and dexterity etc. so I dont want to see the basic stats as I dont use them, well I dont want to.

 

I would prefer to be able to fit a good 30-40 in, whatever amount fits nicely ^^

 

and I would need a way to implement the variables, otherwise an awesome link to a way for me to learn how to do this, and it doesnt need to be using variables if it is doable through another message :D
