Well, first off, this is in the wrong place. Don't worry, I made plenty of mistakes like this nearly a year ago when I first got here :alright: . I don't moderate this area to when one of the mods do come they'll change it.

 

Also, it can be done with Events. When the text appears, just show a picture. Make the picture 640x480 pixels and have the battler in the corner at where you want it. Just remember to set the transparency right and also use the 'Show Picture' command before the text command, otherwise it will appear after the text passes. If you need more help or can't understand what I've just said, just ask. Hope that helped.

When you go to Materials to import, import it into Pics. You gotta make em first, then import em. You want something like this:

 

 

You can use this if you want, I just did a quick one with Aluxes. The transparent color is the green. Hope this helps.

Yeah, but then again, UMS is kinda buggy and, frankly, I find it really annoying. The AMS is much better.

ABS... Indeed. I know of 2 ABS. Blizz-ABS and Mr. Mo's ABS. I prefer Blizz-ABS, much easier to configure. Mr. Mo's ABS is a bit more complex but I haven't dabbled too much into it. I'm fairly sure Mr. Mo's ABS can be found on this website. Blizz-ABS, on the other hand, is mostly found on Chaos Project. Just type "Chaos Project" into google. Hope that helps.

Blizz-abs? I tried using that and I don't think it was as good as XAS........its surprising how little people use XAS, probably because its difficult to work with

blizz-abs is easiest in my opinion. Read the manual that comes with the script to learn how to use it ;)

Mr. mo abs isnt hard at all !. All youve gotta do is put coments in an event to make an enemy, no scripting required unless u want new spels etc.....
