Youtube Copyright Problems

Recommended Posts

Everyone who has videos of their games on Youtube please lookout for companies who are trying to claim your work. You can check your account and if a notice is there about copyright problems then CHECK IT! If you are already noticeable ads on your videos then a company is claiming/disputing copyrights to the work. I recently had to dispute GoDigital who is trying to claim my game Dark Chaos.

I am sure some companies are doing this just to get more ads online then actually really wanting the rights to the games.

yeah that sound bad! but I always thought that the adds were just simply ads and not the company claiming them. Also i think it's classed as illegal to claim someone elses work directly without their permission, so i doubt youtube would allow the company to do so via their adverts on users videos

GoDigital did to add advertisements to my videos. They could careless about the game, and more about profit.

I have that on some of my videos. It happens if it gets views. I have a video viewed almost 30,000 times. I got a noticed about setting up Google ads to earn money. They give your video advertisements so you can earn money for yourself, and the company that has the ads running on your video.

Or at least, that's what it said to me >.>

Did it actually say GoDigital was taking your stuff? :S

*is worried

What is in your videos with over 30,000 views? If it is copyrighted material then it has the possibility of getting ads. If it is completely YOUR work then it should not have ads.

Godigital was just placing ads all over my videos and page. Youtube did remove them after seeing that they lied.

Music. Music from AMIEVIL. He isn't big, but he's big among the remixer. I don't see how they would know that. Oh, and it had fanarts in it....

What's your youtube page? Maybe GoDitial sent you a message you never saw or something.

They did not send me message. My Dark Chaos videos are completely original with RTP work and music.

Nah, no one actually claims your work.

This is a job from a Hacker, I had this a while ago and it results that it was a Hacker who did this.

so There's No Company That can take your work away from you.

Hackers can Trick the Youtube Staff that the Work you got is Stolen and later Youtube Probably can ban you or

Suspend you for alot of weeks.

So careful now.
