madanchi 18 Report post Posted June 7, 2010 wtf! your comp needs a charger to run??? beside that, looks awsome :D and cool desktop, oh and nice 1tb external ok, heres mine, i saw this thread half way through over clocking - in fact, it's still stable after voltage core increase to 1.475 ^^ I had to down clock it other day due to bsod in Crysis EDIT: woops, I moved the files outta the folders into a new one, but then forgetting to delete the folder left on dekstop :P

I bet it cost a pretty penny, personally I think a gtx260 in laptops would be too hot as they get pretty hot in a desktop anyway @Alex - VLC player seems to be the only thing that works with absolutely everything i try with it XD even Winamp fails on odd files occasionally when I get my next money in september-ish, I'mm gonna get another 1tb hdd, 4gb 1066 ram, 5770 (so i can have an hdmi port, as my current gpu doesnt :( and so I can support dual monitors with minimum fps of 60 on every game - Crysis with mods slows down to 25fps single monitor 1920x1080 )

When playing Crysis on Maximum Graphics my whole computer is as cool as it is when i turned it on. Everything only gets 10-20 degrees hotter. You can feel every little corner on the laptop and you wont feel 1 bit of heat. The only hot part is where the hot air comes out from lol. I think ASUS does a perfect job on making laptops and every company should follow them.

Im about to build a new one for college. It's probably gonna be a core i7, with 4gb+ ddr3 ram, and a videocard in the 9000 series of nvidia.

Polraudio 122 Report post Posted June 9, 2010 Don't ever over clock a computer you didn't hand make :| For the sake of your eyes... I'll only show 2 of my monitors. This laptop came with a program to overclock it. It was meant to. All ASUS gaming laptops can be overclocked and come with a program to do so. IS that 150gb a SSD? What program did you use to extend the taskbar to another monitor?

madanchi 18 Report post Posted June 9, 2010 Don't ever over clock a computer you didn't hand make :| For the sake of your eyes... I'll only show 2 of my monitors. nice monitor there :) I wanna get another monitor but my tiny aquarium gets in the way and as longs as the mobo and cpu are made to be OCed, then all is fine, its just that laptops usually arent over clockable (like my old one which sadly has its screen broken) unless theyre a gaming lappy
