Making Bleach game Need People!!

Hi everyone,

 

I whant to make a bleach game with RMXP, but i can't do it alone so i'm asking YOUR help if you whant so..

 

It's about a boy hoow lived in a town called Karakura town, and one day there was a girl called Rukia and give her powers to him

and became a Shinigami to protect his friend and family.

job of a shinigami is to kill the Hollows(enemy's)

 

After a while Rukia needed to go back to soul society(place where all Shinigami's live) but ichigo is here to save Rukia from it!

and his friends are there to for help!

Names are: Chad,Ishida and Orihime

 

needing people: Sprite maker,tileset maker

Xcrdx, I really don't mean to bust your bubbles, but this might not end up happening for you. For one, you didn't write much at all about your game, so no one is going to want to join your team, but also, it's really hard to make a fan-game in RMXP. I'm assuming you are not super awesome or anything with the program (I could be wrong, just assuming), so you shouldn't start out with a fan-game. Make a game with the RTP and your characters and see how it goes. Play some famous RMXP games like Quintessence or Master of the Wind. Look at how much work they put into those games, and then imagine making a game that would take double the work. If you want a good result that is.

 

This is just my advice, so do what you want. But I really think you should have a lot of experience with RMXP before attempting a fan-game. I myself have two years of exp, and I wouldn't want to go for something like this without quite a few willing team members, which you can't get with this kind of topic.

 

Good luck in whatever you decide to do though.

hey xcrd, would be cool to make a Bleach game ^^ but to make it good, you'd have to get Bleach tilesets from somewere or make your own. I think an ABS (action battle script) would be ideal for a Bleach game, - just youtube rpg ABS if you dont know what it is, also if you like (and if you havnt yet) I could PM you or send via email/ msn, the Bleach soundtracks for your game

 

unfortunately, i've got my head stuck in with my game atm (Equensis) with all custom graphics being made

Well, as above post stated, yes, i believe too, that it's the best system for bleach.

 

You should REALLY carefully choose the cost for Shikai's and Bankais, and work out a script that allows you to use certain skills only when you have used Shikai or Bankai.

Unlocking Shikai or Bankai could also be done by doing a quest :P

 

Btw, you should first start up the battle system, and get all the sprite sheets, whom should look like this: http://neuropod.net/imagehost/uploads/01f7d082d28d3d7402dd49e9921a55ce.png

Just even MORE attacks, and skills.

If you need any graphics help, that is the place where im at least decent, i can make a title screen, and MAYBE a decent windowskin...dunno, my windowskins aren't too original xD

One Marked thats really good xD and i think you should also start with just a simple game first too unless you've already messed with this

quite a bit and got used to it. I'm still screwing around with VX and em about to switch to xp because i want to be able to customize mine more. Plus it seems like theres better scripts for it XD

Hey xcrdx, I like your idea of a fan made bleach game! ^^ But...I have three years maybe even more of experience with RMXP, and I kno that fan games don't turn out that good unless you are very talented with the program. I'm not trying to discourage you or judge you but unless you're quite talented with RMXP than I'd be happy to help you with this! :yes:

Yeah you will get a lot of help here. Though lets see if we can get a little development on this project.

 

Have you do anything more toward to the project? We're going to need some modern town tilesets. Soul society shouldn't be too hard though... There are a few japanese building styled tilesets out there.

That is just the problem i don't have any tilesets for a town to make like karakura town i looked on the internet but nothing there..

but there is one problem.. the tileset is to small.. because the square on rmxp take something of the other thing on the sprite to..
