Kiriashi 117 Report post Posted June 21, 2010 I played it, and here are my quick criticism notes. Please don't take offense by these, just try to improve. The opening is kinda' random. Not very detailed. There's fog in the house. Music doesn't fit. The door in your house is at the top. Clouds are too fast. Frogs? WTH. They shouldn't really be there. But they don't even say "ribbit" when talked to. Include text and/or SE. Outline your faces with boxes. "Can you please go away, you bother me" "You're bad, I'm glad to go from here" ^^ Ridiculous dialogue. No periods. In fact all the dialogue is ridiculous. Work on your English, get someone to correct it. Lot's of mistakes. Crowd/people background sound lingers when going to the town and coming back to the village area. Cliff bridge looks really weird. You're not supposed to cut tiles like that. There are signs at the bottom right of the village that don't say anything. You can jump up and off of high cliffs. You really need to work on mapping. And that's all I have to offer, because I wasn't able to progress any further than the spot where the guards ask for a ticket. I talked to some random girl who said she gave me a ticket but I guess that didn't actually happen. :S Overall, it's really hard to understand what was going on, what I was supposed to be doing and where I came from. You really ought to work a bit harder before you release a demo. Work out the bugs first in beta demos. Posting a project thread like this with a demo like you posted isn't quite appealing.
