I have a unfortunately problem:)

Question

:king: Hey,

Ik got a problem nobody has and i think the one who can solve this is a brilliant smartash :) When i try to run rpg maker xp it does nothing, Nothing not failed to obtain crap, nothing. so i tried to run as admin :nono4: i tried to run as xp service pack 2 but i dont have te compitable tab :( i cant see it and i'm not dumb i know i do it right but it isnt there? PLEASE HELP! :o

The only thing I can suggest is updating your frameworks, getting a new service pack, and actually logging in as the computer administrator. Also make sure you are not running an illegitimate version of RPG Maker XP.

He mentioned that he doesn't even get that issue. However, I just realized something. A friend of mine recently downloaded a demo I made in RMXP, but it just opened then closed.

 

Make sure you have the RMXP RTP installed.

thank you guys for all the help :) i still dont get the problem engima i dont have the failed to obtain thingie. :nono4: my operating system is vista :)

Mabye someone can first help me with getting back my compitable tab or sommeting I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO :(

Try this:

 

1. Remove RMXP.

2. Download new Service Pack.

3. Download .Net Framework.

4. Re-download RMXP + RTP

5. Run as administrator if using vista, or run RMXP in an account that is admin.

What operating system are you using, and where did you download RXMP?

 

And please post a screenshot of the error.

Are you installing the RPGXP and RTP in the same drive or location? I had this problem when i accidentally put the two in different places.

 

Also, a screenshot will greatly help us. :)

Eh, like i said i dont get an error it just doenst start up, so i can make a screenshot of my desktop :P but i installt them on the same drive and my operating system is vista. downloaded him here http://download.cnet.com/RPG-Maker-XP/3000-7537_4-10437117.html?tag=lst-1
