EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 I am working on fixing some things up...at current, I have fixed the following: Moon Lander - deleted as I couldn't fix it Arcade - Now has a "Game of the Day" spot (or was it week?) as well as a PM system that will PM members when their score is beaten by another player. Advertising Team Title for everyone - Originally, above everyone's name, it said "Advertising Team" I have gotten rid of that, so it is normal now. "Angre Area" - renamed "Anger Area" to match what the link on the cafe forum says. User Validation - Now activated. No one who is not validated may post anywhere. This may or may not help our spam problem...if it doesn't, we will resort to User AND Admin validation...but I'd rather not give us admins any more work to do then we already have... Pathfinder - deleted as I can't fix it until I can get site access Qbert - deleted as I can't fix it until I can get site access (neither of these had scores anyway...) I will add more to the list as I fix or add things...for those somewhat curious about pathfinder or qbert's states...they are STILL being worked on...I have to wait for Leon to respond to me before I can do anything... I was chosen for this because of my leadership capabilities, not forum capabilities. My job is to keep it going, and I knew I picked the right people for the help. You'll have to upload the qbertArcadeGC.swf file into the arcade folder, then upload the qbertArcadeGC1.jpg (or is it gif?) file to the arcade/images section. That SHOULD (coneivably) fix the glitch...also, I'm sending you 2 new games, and a fix to Bat and Mouse 2 as well...you'll need to upload the swf files into arcade, and the images into the images folder...after that, let me know you did it, and I can finish fixing them...as for pathfinder...I don't know if I can fix it...because I don't know if it is a name problem or not...as it appears not to be...which would mean it is something else I can't figure out >< EDIT: Ok, here they are http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6IOWCHX2 Go there and download the file. After that, unzip it. You will see some swf files, and a folder called "images". EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 Thanks...I'm ust kinda worried...I mean...I'm here as admin to help fix up the site and forum...but I can't right now, because Leon won't give me the tools I need to actually do the stuff that might fix some of the stuff...I don't mean to be mean, and Leon, seriously...I don't know any other way of saying it, other then a way that probably sounds mean...but if you are going to get 2 people to help fix the site, they need the password to get into the site to fix it...again, not trying to be mean...just...it doesn't work well...I can get the games fixed up quickly, but only if I can access the site itself... I mean...don't get me wrong. I totally understand where you are coming from when you say you are ify about giving out the site password. I understand, cause it is hard to trust people...but if you trusted us to fix up the site, that means you need to trust us to do just that. I romise wyz and I won't screw up the site.I care too much for RMXP Unlimited to do anything like that myself. But giving someone the password to it would be like trusting someone with your life. If he gave you the pass you could probably take over the site.. Soooo... EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 Yeah, I know, and I stated that in my post above...I would never take over the forum, though...the forum is too important to me to take over, because if I took it over, I'd ruin it...which is Why Leon is in control. However, I still can't do anything further without the password...OR Leon needs to be on 24/7 so he can upload anything I need uploaded right away...needless to say, that wouldn't be easy... EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 it's not hard, yes, I agree, but what if at a point, I ned something uplodaded, and Leon won't be on for two days, which results in (worst case senario) the mod is faulty and keeps the website down until I can fix it? If you e-mail; someone could hack in, etc. So there is always a danger in giving away a password to someone over the net. But mail; there is less risk, but it could be expensive at times.
