Trojan downloaded from file

Recommended Posts

My virus protection detected a trojan from this file http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/files/file/231-vx-character-creator-studio/ . Other people made comments on it and no one really noticed. We should check comments more often.

I got it from another RPG Maker site. I had it installed in my old PC and it worked fine. Now for some odd reason me and at least two other people have gotten a trojan from this file.

Guys, the file is safe. I tested it, and there's nothing wrong with it.

Hmm. Well you tested it, and Franklin tested it, so who's correct here?

On the verge of deleting...

You don't believe.. me? :<

It's a good program; shouldn't be deleted.

You can use the VX sprites in RMXP to make little dwarfs or hobbits. xD

That's what I do. They work perfectly for miners.

I can't open it because Mcafee deletes the main program to install it.

Maybe you should scan your entire 800+ GB of the "collection" for any trojans...

Ah....did you allow a path to it? Sometimes anti-viruses will do that if the program was made in a odd language.

MCAfee is a piece of crap! You should use a different anti-virus program.

I tested the file as well... No Trojans found.

Rated, you should switch Anti-viruses. That one isn't really good...or allow a path to the file.
