Toshiba

Recommended Posts

I got my Toshiba laptop for Christmas. 7 months later it will not work. I've only used 40 GB out of 230. RPG Maker takes up most of the 40 GB and second comes MegaMan fan stuff. System Recovery will not work as well. Thankfully I still have warranty. Now I have to wait 2 weeks to get my computer fixed.

lol That sucks. You could've just formatted it. And remember to back up your games next time. :alright:

Formatted it how? It won't start.

Insert your CD that came with your computer to restore the operating system.

If it didnt come with one try to contact Toshiba and request one.

If you don't have a back up, Don't format unless you want to lose everything, if ur HDD isn't isnt completely jacked up u can get a sata usb adapter and use it to get your data off that hdd

it wont turn on, as in no power? or just not starting th OS? well, this is simple to get your stuf off your hdd, use a program called Knopix. It's a linux program that you can use off any external or disc. it allows you to transfer any data off your hdd without going on the OS. its really handy for an issue like yours

I got my computer back last Friday. Toshiba gave me a new harddrive and a few other things. My Dark Chaos backup is a bit old, but I'll catch up sooner or later. MegaMan VX is just fine. I reinstalled my Mcafee and Gimp. Everything is running good.
