Question

In a side project of mine Rebirth, it keeps crashing during a battle sequence. I think it has something to do with the SBS I'm using. Here's the link to the game: Rebirth Sorry I wasn't sure how to isolate the issue, but in order to get to the problem fast(unless you just wanna play the game) is to load the 3rd save at which point you'll enter a fight with some guys. Beat them(which should be easy) and after that a little dialog and them the battle where it keeps crashing will happen. It will happen after Deshwitat ask about the Power of Light. Thanks if you can help!

I didn't get the saves with my download. Can you tell me which map to start on? And when I fight those monsters in the forest, I died instantly :( . I also found some minors bugs. These don't help the error, though. When Lilith says "milord", it should be "my Lord". And when transferring to Koushouji Temple, you should make a FadeIn after the transfer. Also at the Temple, the monster should say "wench", not "whench".

I gotta go somehwere but when I get back, I'll try to find where the battle starts.

I can't download your project right now because I'm not at my own computer, but this topic belongs in one of the support forums. I can assume it's XP, but just mention it in your next post I'll move it.

When Lilith says "milord", it should be "my Lord".

Actually he is correct. My Lord (also m'lord) comes from continental Europeans (especially French) whose jobs often brought them into contact with travellers (innkeepers, guides, etc.) commonly used to address Englishmen or male English-speakers who seemed to be upper-class (or whom they wished to flatter) – even though the English-language phrase "my lord" (the source of "milord") played a somewhat minor role in the British system of honorific forms of address, and most of those addressed as "milord" were not in fact proper "lords" (members of the nobility) at all. The word "milord" was occasionally borrowed back into the English language in order to be used as a sarcastic or jocular reference to British travellers abroad.

O.o I didn't know that. I learned somsething today. As for the error, as far as I know, it only occurs when Abort Battle is in the scene. I'll look further into it but I gotta sleep. :P

Well medieval times has always been my favorite thing to learn about; especially in history class (back in the day). I have a book that lists all titles (king, queen, duke, milady (my lady or m'lady), etc.

PS: Downloading now.

EDIT

Seems every battle I enter I am defeated with out fighting and then game over...

I get the same thing. The best thing to do is go into the database and battle from there. The buggy battle is "???".
