Purchaced Recently?

Has anyone actually purchaced this lately? There are downloads (trial period) all over the place, but how do you buy it. Buy now leads to Protexis, and they are no help at all. You can buy from Enterbrain, I did last week, but they send you a product key that can't be entered. The already paid button leads you to a choice: enter activation code (not the product key,)generate by web (always leads to the cannot display message,) generate by phone (well there's the serial number, but there are no partners,) generate by fax (again, no partners.)I've used Enterbrain's tech support page, repeatedly, but no answer to any question. I'm not even sure they get the questions. So, my question is, has anyone bought this, within, say, a week?

 

Hey, thanks for all the suggestions. I finally got my maker activated tonight. I found the edit button, I'm not sure I'm using it right though. I've no idea how to use the multi quote button, but I'll try to figure it out. Sorry about the multiple posts. By the way, Opera works great!

The older version is 1.02A and the newer one on their site now is 1.04

Actually, I did buy it there. I got the e-mail with the product key but the original download didn't install, and the download site in the e-mail didn't have it. I've downloaded from here a few times, with the same problem. I've tried a few other downloads, I think the one that actually (finally) intalled was from CNet. Thanks, I haven't given up yet.

What I mean to say is the five, five digit product key alphanumeric doesn't fit in the boxes provided. They are pre-configured to take four digit numbers, or four groups. Also, they are labeled "serial number" and "activation code"but not one labeled "product key" that will accept the number they sent me. I did find the serial number, and another code called "installation code" but no combination of codes produces a valid result. I've been e-mailing technical support and sales support, but there's been no reply, and I'm not sure they're even getting my e-mail (the site doesn't acknowledge reciept.) I know it's not supposed to be this hard- I've downloaded plenty of other software and games over the years.

It sure does! Ive downloaded ver. 1.02 and 1.04. Today was the first time I saw 1.02a listed as such, so I don't know if I've also tried that. I'm pretty sure the one that actually installed on my computer is 1.04, from CNet, but I've installed (or tried,) uninstalled, downloaded and tried again that it's hard to be sure. I thought I was making real progress when I got to the "buy now/already paid" screen. IE is having a lot of trouble finding the links they keep sending me to. Maybe I'll try Opera.

The activation code is the product key. Do you have the RTP downloaded?

There is nothing different about the systems as far as the game making. The new system uses a new activation method.

The latest keys will only work with 1.04. There's also a difference for Activation Code and Serial key, so maybe you're pressing the wrong button. There should be a place to enter your activation code, and a place to enter your serial key.

 

By the way, I believe this is the second time I've told you not to make a different post for every quote. Use the multi-quote button please.

1.04 changed the serial key system. Don't update! You'll have to go through the hassle of getting a new serial. : /

I decided to update mine. Of course now I'm waiting for the correct keys needed, but oh well. It would seem that editable games made in the newer version will not load in RMXP.

Because now I have both versions. I just renamed the original RMXP folder. So now I can give support for both if the need arisis.
