Is it possible to do the following?

 

1. Reduce elemental damage by a certain percentage by wearing certain equipment(Chrono Trigger)

2. A side view battle system (Final Fantasy)

3. Learn enemy attacks (Final Fantasy)

4. Absorb elemental damage and add it to your hp total. (Final Fantasy/Chrono Trigger)

5. Have a Reflect spell that bounces magic attacks back at the enemy. (Final Fantasy)

6. Have a Doom status were in x amount of turns a character dies (Final Fantasy)

7. Have a gradual petrify status where in x amount of turns a character turns into stone. (Final Fantasy)

8. Have a special skill that reduces stats by a certain percentage(Final Fantasy)

1. Yes, go into the armor and increase the elemental resistance labeled on the side.

2. Yes, the script is somewhere on rmxp.org

3. Yes, but it requires Trickster's Steal Script, which is only compatible with the DBS (Default Battle System)

4. Yes, take the elemental resisistance of a character or piece of armor and set it to "F"

8. Yes, just go into the skill and change the F's (STR-F, DEX-F, etc.) to a negative number...I think that's how you do it anyway...I've done it before...but I don't remember how I did it...

As long as the skill doesn't do damage, then that is correct, SC. If it does do damage, then you don't want to put negative, because that will make it heal instead of lower.

is it possible ? certinly, and that's nothing compared with what RMXP can really do

but ofcourse, in order to do such things, you should learn RGSS.
