A screenshot would be nice, so we could see more clearly what youre asking for, but anything can be made a "door" with the 'teleport' event. its easy to set up, if its what youre asking for.

I have the new version of RMXP and you should have posted a screen shot in the first place cause your explanation was horrible. Seeing your screen shot and you better description the sample would not have helped you any way.

it should jsut be a teleport event. I cant guide you through it atm, because I dont have it on my newly rebooted PC, but it should be simple.

I think you can have telleport with no extra stuff, like just putting you over on the other side.

Well if I think what I think it is, then I don't think it uses teleportation.

@Vintage_Lolkats Do you have a download link of the game/file?

You probably have 1.02a. That's why you can't ope

Do you want to know how to make a door in general, or how they are in the "January" screenshot?

I can make a tutorial if you want.

theres the game http://www.megaupload.com/?d=63KQMPAM but didnt come with game file

That's not the game. There is no way a game would have come with just that, because no one would be able to open it. The WHOLE game file is needed:

The part in red may or may not be in it and is not needed.

I don't think this is a door. I believe it is just a passage through a wall. If so then a door tutorial probably is not needed, but he might ask later so might as well.

You really can't copy something that is part of real life architect. Most Openings in a wall have any where from 1-2 feet of structure at the top of the opening.

Oh. Well I wasn't accusing him of plagiarism, I was saying that he shouldn't copy it because it looked bad.

To open a project in an earlier version open your game project file up in notepad and change the 1.04 to 1.02 then save it and wala it now opens in an earlier version of RMXP.

step2l.png

if you dont have notepad there you can always go to notepad and open the file from there.

Make sure to have all files selected.

Hope this helps opening Kage's Project or anyones who has 1.04.

That's actually a common problem among beginners. You see, RMXP doesn't know that the graphic you chose was a sign. It assumes that it's a character. When you talk to a character that isn't facing you, it turns towards you, doesn't it? To prevent this for your sign events, select direction fix:

This will prevent it from "facing" you. ^~^
