OverlordMao 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2010 I have been trying to make my own character sprite, but it never seems to look even remotely what I need it to. I've tried searching the internet for a character sprite close to what I need, but it still never seems to work. What I'm asking for in complex, actually. If you think you're ready for a spriting challenge, then open the following and prepare for the worst. What I am asking for comes in several parts that I will attempt to explain as best as possible. The first part is simple, create a character sprite that looks like the creature in the following card (add modifications so that the arms are more defense-based, as if both arms carried a circular shield on them A single sprite should be about three times the size of a normal single character sprite. The second part is where is gets difficult. Separate the arms, head, and the lower body (or the booster system attached to it, but as a single piece) and have them be within their own character sprite set. This will be used as the creature itself was split into five pieces. The body at this point, however, should not have the "core" inside of it. This was also removed, as it was the power source and was sealed separately all together. These are the only two parts of this challenge that I have been unable to perform. However, I may ask whoever helps me with this problem to work on another part I may just be unable to perform myself, but this may or may not be necessary which is why I don't just add it here. To whomever is willing to help me, great recognition within the game this sprite will be used in will be rewarded. Not only will you be mentioned within the Credits section, but I will allow you to help me within the game altogether, if you desire such. Also, I will give you the honor of naming one of the main characters of the story or even to allow you to develop your own with it's own little story.
