These tips will help you avoid doing so. 1. Avoid hitting the post button more than once. 2. If you hit the post button and its not loading or you get an error page open the topic up into a new window or tab to check if it got posted before refreshing or re-posting. 3. Marked 197 Report post Posted September 2, 2010 In these circumstances, the two posts will be identical, and we'll simply remove one of them. It's pretty common on forums and most sites that use forms. All forms have submit buttons and by default there is no system from preventing the ability to submit more than once by clicking repeatedly.
