Character cannot move in Custom Tileset

Question

Hello,

I have imported some tilesets I have found on here and another site but my character cannot move on them. I checked the passibility and it looks right:

database.jpg

Is the directional pass supposed to show the arrows because it does and when I eliminate the arrows the same thing happens. I read the tutorial and still am confused.

When I use the in game tilesets it doesn't happen, just when I use the custom. Is there something wrong with the way I import them? Is it supposed to have the following red dot?

importdatabase.jpg

Any help will be appreciated. It is not a rush, I want to design the dungeons before I worry about that stuff. I just don't want to have to re-create the dungeons because of a mistake I made.

Thank you,

Could you post the tileset please? :D

It is called TS-ERKU-FusedExUltimate. It was part of Nouman's Exterior res pack that I downloaded from here.

Any thing that isn't originally in RMXP will have a red dot. Pass ability and directional pass are nearly the same thing, directional pass you can just limit which direction characters can walk on them where pass ability is either can walk or can't. My suggestion would be to delete the tile set from your database, rename the file, so it is easier to find, then import it again into your project. Make sure you are using a new tile set spot not one from an original RMXP. Then reapply you tile set properties and try that. It shouldn't have anything to do with the picture, unless it isn't in JPG. or the right formate for RMXP, but even then it shouldn't let you import it into the project. That should do it.

I think I may have an idea you may want to try if nothing else works. This happened to me before. I noticed your first white tile is set to a square <counter>, change it to a Circle <passable> and see if that helps you.

Edit:

I saw the animation folder thing too, but it must have been uploaded to the tileset folder or the first pic is impossible. The autotiles in the tileset itself is a handy spacesaver though Crimson. :biggrin_002:

I tried doing that but then the character passes through everything.

Ah, I see the problem.

This wasn't supposed to be an "import and play" tileset, it was a picture with everything in it. The top were autotiles, they do not belong as tilesets, but as an autotile. Second, your settings are still wrong ;)You need to set priority and everything else according to how they are in other tilesets. :>

I set a few myself and it worked great. So, that's all you have to do.

And yes, the red dot doesn't mean its bad.
