So I started watching this series like 3 days ago and I'm at about episode 180 something. When I got to the episodes dealing with Sky Island I skipped like 10 or 15 episodes because they started talking about God, enter heavens gate, angels, etc. I don't have issues with religion, but for a writer NOT to have an imagination and come up with some Island in the sky and has to mush religious features is a turn off.

I actually found the Sky Island saga to be quite interesting. True, they could have thought a bit more to make it original, but oh well. Still a good series :)

I heard One Peice was really cool. But I couldn't really get into it. All I noticed was that the guy in the hat gets powerful when he's mad.

Blood in it? You mean the character Luffy if so yes he does. If you are referring to the One Piece itself, it is the worlds greatest treasure (biggest).

(Yeah, never get Luffy mad) In the original Japanese, yes. In the american version, no. There's also some swearing in the original version, they cut out a lot of things from One Piece when they aired it in america.

 

Edit: I believe Rgangsta means the Anime "One Piece", not the greatest treasure "One Piece" :P

That's ridiculous you can't compare other anime with other anime. Each has it's own story, plot, and characterization. Just watching the show and how the characters are portrayed to be and act I can see that hard core blood would not fit the story or some of the characters themselves.
