I hate that my first post on here is a script request (and I hope I'm doing this in the right place), but I was wondering if anyone knows of/has/can make a XP script that makes an actor learn a particular skill(s) when they equip a specific weapon. E.g. Bob equips a sword, he learns "Decapitate"; or Sally equips a spear, she learns "Impale", etc. Naturally, if said actor unequips the weapon, they forget the respective skills. I have that kind of system running in my game with common events/parallel processes and stuff, but if I add any more depth to it, it really starts to lag... so I figure a script is the way to go. As far as what I can offer in return though if you have to make a script from scratch, I am a novice electronic musician and really enjoy making simple video game music (like mood music, character themes, etc) and am willing to do a trade if you like. You can acquire points by posting on the forums; the more you post (That includes the content of your posts), the more points you earn. You can get them via bank interest. The bank currently has 2% interest, so one point won't get you anywhere. xD OR you can offer your own service. I just made a topic about having a dedicated service section actually.
