Battlesystem question

Question

Hello again,

 

Before I begin the planning phase for this I would like to know if the following can be done.

 

Can you implement multiple battle systems into a game. Can you have the game have the generic battle system but in some moments of the game use a tactical battle system and in another moment use an Action battle system. Can it be done with a script or a trigger? Can you have a specific battle system in a specific area (Map)?

 

Or are you basically stuck with one battle system throughout the game.

 

I don't need to know how it is done at the moment. Just whether or not it CAN be done. This will kind of help me decide on how the game will come together. I would like to use 3 different types of battles. It is a Suikoden fan game after all :)

Yes, but the scripts have to be compatible

 

Many of the new ABS are, many will feature an on and off switch

Allowing you to deactivate one and Activate another via the Event Command : Script

As Engima said, they would have to be compatible. I forget where...but someone made a trailer of a Digimon & Dragon Ball Z fan game where they had two different systems. One like Dbz and one like FF games...
