Eclipse

Recommended Posts

Hello~

Just wondering if anyone's used the Eclipse 2D MORPG Maker. I enjoy the program, but it's not working out for my game. That's why I'm trying to set up RMX-OS.

Eclipse is programmed with an outdated language, with choppy features, and a horrid community. It is in no way an engine to use and expect to make any sort of successful game of it.

Correct, but it is also very good to use when you are just starting out. If you don't know scripting or coding and want to make a simple 2D MORPG, it's perfect.

Sure, if you want to make a MORPG that only 2 people will ever see, then yeah. If you;re not willing to put the effort into it, an MORPG is not the option for you.

Or in other words, put your talent and ambition to use with something that will make itself known; something that lots of people will play and enjoy. :3

Also, you guys came really close to talking about Twilight; you do that and I insta-ban you.

No, it has nothing to do with Twilight.

"eclipse" has been used countless times before any stupid move franchise.

Funny 'cause you think the program is stupid too. Every instance of Eclipse is stupid.

Don't worry Kiriashi, no Twilight here. :alright:

(If you hear me talking about Twilight, shoot me :nono4: I hate Twilight XD)

And you're right, I agree with you both. The most I've seen on an Eclipse game is about 50 people, and boy did it lag!
