A map here and there is fine as long as you don't flake on me like the other people did before. Sorry if I sound like a ass, its just people just disappear and make up excuess without making a single map.

 

Map 1:

Name: Thumder Plains

Size: 50 x 100

Exits: North and South of the plains

Tileset: Evil Castle

Landscape:

1. Add Inn Building (I'll do interial)
   
2. Add a entrance to a cave
   
3. Add a large river in the middle with a bridge going a cross.
   
4. dead trees
   
5. dead grassy spots

Why? I'm not talking about a city or town or somthing. Plus there's not that many events going off other then the thunder bolts I'll be adding later.

That's what I thought lol, I was thinking with his permission of doing one 30x40 and another that is 20x60. However I already tried mapping the whole thing and its turning out okay but its much easier and looks nicer when you have smaller maps to deal with.

Because, it limits what a mapper can do. It's so much easier to make pretty looking maps in a confined area.

 

Also because I'm the mapping master and I said so. :P

@Kiriasha: I've actually finished a forest which actually in my games thread that is 120x70. While you are right that it is easier to do a smaller map, I like some of maps large and some small. Just depends on my area.

 

@Dragon324: Don't worry I'll give you smaller map ideals in the future, I just wanted this on in a long strench.

In need of a Scripter for the battle system

 

Okay so I'm using the Sideview Battle System Tankentai XP that Atoa gave up on for his own reason to start on a Minkoff sideview battle system that is only cusomizable if you have the right minkoff's to your characters or a artist who can draw them for you. So while he's now working on this limited but "customizable," all the scripts that should of been in the Tankentai or should of been updated or fixed were added to his new battle system. Now this would all be fine if it wasn't for these reasons:

1. I don't have all the minkoff characters I want to use as there limited (mostly RTP custom minkoff)
   
2. I've already put alot of work into the Tankentai system, so need switch (such as configuring 3rd party scripts to work with his system)
   
3. I don't want to switch systems because a couple of people got on Atoa's nerves so he decided to stop working on it.
   

 

So my request is for someone to help configure the scripts from his new system into his old one, as he won't do it seeing as he said he doesn't support the Tankentai anymore and that he personally won't add them to the system. Once this is complete I can finally release the demo, its just this system thats been holding me back. While this is happening I can work on the menu system without any worry since that one is easier then this. :P When someone is ready to help I can happly send the script over. For something in return I can probably give something in return (not money as I'm broke <_< ) something RPG wise.

Hmm, if you have a bug ill sniff it out, and fix it. I can add on existing scripts, but im not too confident about making scripts from scratch.

This isn't a necro-post. This is a post that was made some time after the date of the last post - this by itself is not a necro-post. These things have to be taken in context - 1. the past replies spread over a very long period of time, 2. bigace is still active here (though on a break coz of school, nonetheless he will be emailed regarding the reply), 3. Saltome's post is useful, he's offering help, and most important 4. this is a project recruitment thread.
