Shivered series

Alright so when I went home for leave I found an old story I had started writing when I was 13 years old. 'The Awful Pumpkin Patch' I thought of after reading some Goosebumps and Bone Chiller books (ages 7-12). After reading what I had written I decided that I should start my own kids series seeing as how it was a kids series that inspired me to become a writer. Of course I have not read a kids book in years (like 10 or more years). So I had to go to Barns and Nobles and find a series that best suited what I wanted to convey. So I picked up seven Goosebumps books and a few Bone Chillers as well as some series I had not heard before. So I eventually came up with a series name for the books, SHIVERED. I have began writing book 1 in the series as well as outlining books 2 and 3; these two are still rough ideas, but I can give you an idea about the first book.

 

Shivered: The Curse of Cold Creek Forest (book 1)

 

When Jessica and Terry move to a new town and start school at Endora JR High they soon find out they are in for a big surprise. Too bad they did not listen to the stories about the forest directly behind the school. Because now they are lost in a forest and the only thing they find is the cold truth that the stories about Cold Creek Forest are true.

 

Shivered: Welcome to Nilbog (book 2)

 

I don't have much information about this book (as stated above), but I do know that a family moves to a town called Nilbog which is full of Goblins (Nilbog spelled backwards is Goblin) who try and turn people into Goblins.

 

Shivered: The Puppet Master

 

When souls are trapped in puppets they seek escape by taking control of kids.

Great news, in 9 months the first book will be published. I am having a book cover designer design the book cover to the first book.
