I have another problem?

Question

I don't know why but when I opened my game project today and i tested the game when I entered inside the lab the ground just covers ontop of stuff and when I tried to start a new game while Prof.Oak was loading in the background there was a repeating sound of footsteps bumping into something.I tried to restart my computer then turn it on again but it didn't work.I tried to restore my computer using system restore but everytime I tried to it couldn't be restored. The only thing I haven't tried yet is downloading a new starter kit.Game

If you have a problem with YOUR game should you not post it and not a download of the starter kit? No one can help with what little information you have provided.

So a sound is repeating itself through a game play, correct? Have you've checked all the events and whatnot? See if its on parallel process or autostart.

(I'm going to try to rephrase this.)

I'm trying to make a Pokemon game with Pokemon Essentials. When I opened my game today,I tested it out and walked around the map.I exited the door of the house i built and went to the Pokemon Laboratory I created. When I entered inside the lab things were messed up like this:

cover.jpg

cover2.jpg

cover3.jpg

cover4.jpg

When I designed it like this:

cover5.jpg

Here's the sound of when i press new game:Sound

(If you still don't know what i'm asking i'll try to explain it.I'm trying to find out what's wrong with my project, why parts are cut off,why the floor is ontop of the stairs and table, and why when i press new game the sound of footsteps start.)

Did you put things on the wrong layers? That's how it looks for me when I put things on the wrong layers....

As for the sound, do you have any events created?

Its impossible for it to be on the wrong layers.I putted the floor tiles on the first layer as well as my walls on the first layer. The second layer contains everything but the pokeballs on the table. The third layer has the pokeballs on the table. The fourth layer I putted in events but those events are either on action button or just player touch which are for map transfers. The walls going on the first layer shouldn't be a problem for I do it all the time without errors.

For events the only sounds in it besides the intro map which contains auto run are just exit door.

Check your layers settings to see if they are correctly set. You might accidentally have the floor setting to overlap anything.

I already looked in the intro event where the foot sound begins but can't find anything about a foot sound playing. Also the event of the intro was already on autorun.I just tried to put it on parallel process and received an error so the intro was suppose to become an autorun.

You need autorun for intros really because under parallel process a person can push the arrow keys and move the player while the into is happening.

You should upload your game for us to look through. Even better if you can make a duplicate and delete all the maps but the one you're talking about.

An autorun can be erased with "Erase Event" as well. Just put a switch on and switch to the next page, and the autorun will be shut off. :)
