Weird problem with RPG maker XP....

I was trying to install a caterpillar system script, I had it in a new project just to see how it would look, and test it before I put it in my real project. Well, I tested it a bit, it worked well. But, for some reason, now as soon as you start the game the character goes right to the top of the screen and can't really move anymore, he can only go left and right. I thought the script just didn't work right, so I took it out. But, the game was still doing it, and it's even doing it in the game that I didn't install anything into. Help, please?

just change your player's starting position on the event map...:) it should work...;)

Sadly, I just tried it and it didn't work.

well, then there are 2 cases.

1. you changed his position but you put it on a tile that is again non passable (:P)

2. i have no idea and you should wait for someone else to reply...;(

I dont think its the script. Try putting the script right above Main and below everything else. Try to check your events and make sure nothing is set to move the player.

Well, I ended up shutting my computer down when I went to bed. Just checked RMXP and it's not doing that weird thing anymore.
