madanchi 18 Report post Posted December 9, 2010 (edited) stange this one, only yesterday Photoshop randomly stoppped working giving me the error 'photoshop has stopped working' very similar to the annoying ' program has stopped responding'. Also, the exact same issue happens with gimp, both updated and i havnt updated recently - so its not an update issue. My thought were a virus, scanend and found a standard trojan, cleaned but still same issue. Full re-installation of both gimp and Photoshop, still the same issue, so the virus hadnt deleted a file. Unless, it somehow attached itself on the files and merged or bined itself to the file making it unattachable for the scanner, therefor making the scanner completely deleting the file and virus (well, quarranteen). But then re-installation would have re-supplied me with the file :/ anyways, any help will be great as i need any of he programs for my Design course asap! :) Edited December 9, 2010 by madanchi

madanchi 18 Report post Posted December 18, 2010 ... I just fainted several times over... Photoshop works!!! I got it fixed yes!!!!!!!!!! sooo happy, I can finally work on my game Lumis and anything else!!! :biggrin_002: :biggrin_002: It was a simple solution, update my gpu drivers... A recent Os update had conflicted with my gpu video driver and caused several issues with PS and Gimp along with some mroe with ym OS. The reaosn why I didnt update my video drivers before was they had been updated very recent (like a week or 2), but then ATI go and release an even newer update XD So, pleased!
