Errors?

(I found a perfect download for my Pokemon game that has the game maps of Kanto through Johto but when I downloaded it didn't have the project inside just the data.I read the instructions and imported everything into a new project folder but when I tested the map it gave me an option to add a character name Bug Catcher.Either choice I choose ends up with this error:

try this:

Close the project, copy the map files, and paste them in a new project.

edit: only the map files!

But then won't that mean i'll lose the Pokedex script and all the other ones?

then just edit the project you downloaded, that's what I did when I used Pokemon essentials.

Oh I know what to do! I'll copy it to a new project,get a new pokemon essentials,an on the new project I'll look at the map and copy it instead of importing the data.If it still won't work then I'll have to look for something else.

No that can't be it,The folder only came with PBS,Data,and tileset.The instructions said to put the data in a new project plus the tileset.Don't get why they just didn't put the project inside.And even if a script were missing,the data should have a script data.
