Enigma 10 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 I believe I can helps with that: "Was going to post pics here but that would take to much time" So I'm just going to do a customer testimonial... Hello, This is the Management: We know it has been a long time since you have heard from us, we have been in the Bahamas taking a much needed vacation. As one might guess, Management is not very easy. The Management would like to recommend the services of "Emmo Ecks" for his work on creating maps for various projects including but not limited to: Azure Ocean, Limit, Etc. "Emmo Ecks" is very efficient and creates maps to the specifications of said request on a timely matter. One such map that we had requested for over 9 months, Mr. Ecks has completed in two weeks complete with interior maps to complement. Mr. Ecks is also always willing to work on the next assignment. Soapbox 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 Wouldn't you mind uploading your screenshots somewhere else for non-Facebook users including myself? Not only I hate Facebook with a passion, I detest the existence of it. I refuse to register an account to view your screenshots. This service is a nice idea though. gRaViJa 4 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 Ehm, i expected much more of your maps. Especcially the inner maps look bad (too large and not realistic at all).
Emmo Ecks 4 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 (edited) mind you, all the interiors displayed (except for pic 4) are places like a navy building, a bounty hunter guild, a cafe, a fish shop, weapons/armor/magic-alchemy. pic 4 is over the top cause its a mayors house who lives over the top. mind you also, these ones displayed are all commissions. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~EDIT~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Alternate image hosting has been added, check original post. -Thanks Edited January 6, 2011 by Emmo Ecks

Soapbox 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 To my disappointment, your maps contain an abundance of overlays, which is almost as bad as empty maps. Your interior maps and caves are significantly large and need to be downsized, especially in the caves. That will lead the player through a lot of annoying random battles during the transit from ladder A to ladder B and may frustrate the player after awhile. Cut down the overlays: Your interiors look like a pig sty with all that clutter. Having clutter doesn't make your maps rich, but look like an eyesore. Maps should be clean but effective, not the opposite, which are your maps. Downsize your interiors and caves: JRPGs tend to have compact houses, as the people in Japan live in much more compact homes than the westerners. Play some JRPGs and some reputable RPG Maker games to give you an idea what interiors should look like. The same goes for your caves.
