FranklinX 37 Report post Posted January 9, 2011 I've been thinking of a new party idea. This idea makes the player choose one of two parties for the entire game. This concept will also have two different storylines, one for each party. What do you guys think about this idea? Should this be in one game? We took it a little further, we did two games that took place in the same world and played as separate parties in separate nations. It was interesting to see how we both developed our nations. Broken Messiah 20 Report post Posted January 9, 2011 Thats sorta what I'm doing in Code Geass PM, you join either the 'terrorists' and attempt to free japan or enlist in the military and crush the terrorists and japanese rebels. That reminds me of Playing Sonic Adventure and who you play changes the storyline slightly depending on who you play. It was annoying when I played Tails. Or the sequel with the Light and Hero side. Broken Messiah 20 Report post Posted January 9, 2011 Yeah, sorta like two games and there will be a party switch if I decide not to have a sequel(very likely.) I will say that the bad thing IS that it'll be like making two games at once, and even that many more times harder if it was to also allow for gender, that would be like four games.
