psp to ps3

here's my problem:

a couple years ago, my brother downloaded FF7 on his psp. i got pretty far.

now, i want dissidia. i tried to download it on my ps3, but it sad i needed a psp.

unfortunately, because of FF7, the psp doesn't have enough space, so i decided to see if i can transfer memory stick data (game files specifically) from psp to ps3.

 

i saw this on gamefaqs.com

To copy your saved data from PSP to PS3:

 

1.) Connect your PSP to your PS3 via USB cable.

2.) Navigate to the Memory Card Utility on your XMB.

3.) Select your PSP.

4.) Choose the Internal Memory Card you wish to copy from (FINAL FANTASY VII-1 or 2).

5.) Select the save you wish to copy and press triangle; then select "Copy".

6.) Now select the destination (your PSX Internal Memory Card) and press X; the data will now be copied over.

7.) Repeat with further saves if desired.

8.) Load up the game on your PS3 and enjoy!

i don't understand it, and i don't want to restart, I got to Sephiroth, but can't beat him

can someone help me(with the data tranfer, not the boss fight)

Just connect your PSP to a PC and the got to SAVEDATA and then look for FF7 and drag it to your PC. With that all on the desktop, you can remove it and put it back on whenever you need or want. It doesn't harm anything either, if you want to know that as well. :P

 

I don't own a PS3, but here you go:

 

1.) Connect your PSP to your PS3 via USB cable.

 

Connect your PSP to your PS3 using a USB cord. Scroll over to the left on the PSP and hit "USB CONNECTION" button. Wait and your PS3 should detect the PSP.

 

2.) Navigate to the Memory Card Utility on your XMB.

 

Now, navigate your PS3 to the saved data of your FF7 game. To do this, find the saved Data of FF7 on your Memory Stick using the PS3.

 

4.) Choose the Internal Memory Card you wish to copy from (FINAL FANTASY VII-1 or 2).

Now select which MEMORY CARD you want to copy the data from on the PSP. Memory card 1 or 2. Select which ever you want.

 

5.) Select the save you wish to copy and press triangle; then select "Copy".

The next step is to select the file ON the memory card you picked.

 

6.) Now select the destination (your PSX Internal Memory Card) and press X; the data will now be copied over.

Now select where you want to PUT that new FF7 memory data on the PS3.
