New Pokemon game

Did u guys know they were making another pokemon game and there's now like 649 Pokemon. The thing i'm wondering is how big this pokemon planet is, because Nintendo seems to easily add another large continent into the series every time. Anyways like usually the game looks the same: train to be the Grestest trainer alive, Defeat an evil organization, beat the elite four, have a rival, etc...etc.

 

The one thing i would like different the most in every game they make is the elite four thing. It makes me feel like me and my rivals are the only ones that are actually trying to the best training and everyone else is just foder. Instead of battling the elite four at the end maybe they can do it like the t.v show and have u battle random trainers on your way up to the top. Then at the end after beating your rival who should be the last guy in the tournament, you go to the computer and they add you to the hall of fame. After that you can battle the elite four and then be called the greatest trainer in the game it's self. But that's just me though.

 

What do you guys think of ANOTHER pokemon thats pretty much the same forumla as before.

Pokemon got overated to me. After Ruby and Sapphire, it just became "eh" to me.

Probably for the same reason as me: different map, added pokemon, same concept(Evil organization, 8 gyms, rival, elite 4<-- this seriously needs to change if Nintendo wants anymore of my money on these games, i'm tired of fight elite 4 over and over again because there to lazy to make a normal pokemon leage tournament like the t.v show.).

The elite 4 is just a reason for them to be lazy and not be creative. IF they just made it the elite... 20, maybe then it would be better.

I would love to have more privileges and things to do as champion. Something cool would be the ability to go to the Elite 4 and accept challenges from other trainers.

Know for some reason i am very tempted to buy this game when it comes out, just because i like pokemon. I would definity buy it if the put all the pokemon color games into one colossual game for like Wii2, PS3, Xbox. That would be epic, and change a bunch of shit to make it more entertaining, like what i've already said above about the Pokemon league and stuff.

pokemon got boring for me right after fire red and leaf green. Almost every game is the same. Nentendo: "Lets add 3 pokemon and change what ones you can get and call it a new game. Add them before lunch and take a 1 year vacation before the release"

 

Thats how it seems like they do it.

Which is very ironic for them to say that as you'll have to travel every continent to do that and pokemon games, except Gold/Silver, only stay on one continent. If i really was to be this supposed Pokemon Master, that would require me to go to every continent in the pokemon planet and challenge more than only 8 gym leaders out of like 40+ gym leaders and challege actual trainers instead of this run-of the mill elite four that should be post-pokemon champ challeges not pre-champ. Pokemon logic, you shouldn't even be able to challege them until your uber powerful. <_<

After the first generation of Pokemon I lost much interest in the franchise. I mean, how much "Gotta Catch Them All!" can a person stand when they constantly add boatloads of uninspired Pokemon species? The first generation of Pokemon is all I need.

 

EDIT: I would still play the old games for the nostalgia from time to time.
