Quitting Rmxp (tentative)

All of my files are permanately backed up, lol. I have everything installed and running off a 1TB External hard drive... Ive had too many issues with this laptop.

I don't know about you, but deleting and emptying the trash can still leaves shadow copies behind. You can always check that, Enigma :P

You are correct. In fact it doesn't delete any data at all, but the entries off the table of contents that refer to the data. It's like a phone book and while the land number may become unlisted upon request, the number still exists nonetheless.

There's still a possibility of you recovering your data, try the following program.

There's no guarantee that your data will still be intact or useable. You can also try commercial grade recovery software though how you obtain it is up to you. :)

 

For future reference.

 

Create a boot CD for use in emergencies, I use BartPE (http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/) with Total Commander (http://www.ghisler.com/) and it works wonders. Just had to use it myself about a month ago when Windows decided to kill itself. Here's a handy install guide for using BartPE.
