Two scripts needed: DBS and Equipment Upgrades

Hi again.

 

The first script is an advanced side-view ATB CBS called a DBS (Dynamic battle system). Think FF13. It involves your party of 3 on one side of the screen and opponents on the other. Instead of MP/SP or whatever, there are a maximum of 6 ATB slots. Each command can fill between 1 and 5 slots, with an ultimate tech which requires all six. Each character will start with two, later characters with more depending on when they join the party. Each character will need to be animated with Idle, Physical attack (+running left&right) and Magic attack poses. Each character will also have 10 TP which regenerates 1 point a turn. It will also need to remove the fight/escape window and tech names when a skill is used. (That will be inc. in the animation) Another modification will be that each tech has a 'range'. This will be the size of the animation. If the scope is set to "all enemies," the only enemies within the bounding box of the animation are affected.

 

Options will be:

Fight: Use stock commands which use ATB. (Example techs: Attack, Fire, Cure)

Tech: Use special techniques which use TP. (Example techs: Summon, Scan)

Class Change: Changes the current characters class between physical, magical, and support classes.

Run: Attempt to flee the battle.

 

Classes:

 

Physical:

Specializes in physical attacks.

Example techs: Attack, Blitz.

 

Magical:

Specializes in magical attacs.

Example techs: Fire, Cure.

 

Support:

Specializes in techs which strengthen the party.

Example techs: Haste, Protect.

 

Due to the 3 character party limit, it will need a party changing system (easily found) and a script to limit the current party to 3 members.

 

 

 

The second script is an equipment upgrade script, literally equipping equipment to the equipment.

 

Each weapon will have 3 upgrade slots.

Eg:

Core: [icon]Bronze Core: ATK +40

Coating: [icon]Obsidian: ATK +10, Critical Hit +5%

Enhancement: [icon]Firestorm: ATK +10, Fire Damage 40

 

I realize the the DBS will require a large amount of scripting. I am sure this is possible albeit difficult.

If anyone manages to script this, or find one pre-made...you are a blimmin' legend.
