Looking for a flashlight/darkness script...

Hello, I am working on a horror themed RPG, and I was curious if there were any scripts for a flashlight effect? This project would feature scenarios in which you are submerged in darkness being hunted by monsters (like every horror game ever made). Im curious if there were a script that caused some kind of effect were you see a cone of light coming off of your character(ala a flashlight), illuminating a small area while everything else is dark.

Some RMXPers rely on scripts way too much.

I think he means an actual torch effect, were a light beam is cast in the players direction. If so, it could be done, but I haven't seen a script like one. Could be done, sure, rmxp is almost limitless. Events, well, I'm no eventer, I'm guesing you'd need the shaddow script and then with events

this is what im thinking of. Like everything else is near solid darkness around the flashlight cone
