Fateofdawn 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2011 whats your opinion for a game to make it good (sorry my english is kinda fail) my opinion is a good game would be a game with a good and intresting story but music plays a big role in a game too it creates the sphere how the game pressent it self. every battle systeem has it good and bad sides i prefer a dbs or a cdbs because i can draw or make the batlers unique and original that lures people to play it. less people is going to play a gae with over used characters and battlers dont u agree? but addons is optional helps u though the storyline like minimaps, quest diary but i never use too much addons because u need to find a balance in or do u think otherwise? oke here is the question what is your opinion what makes a game a good game. Whats your favorite battle systeem and why do u use lots of scrips and addon scrips or not? What type of story do u like and why
Marked 197 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 When I used to be into RPG Making, and played peoples RMXP games, I always found the beginnings to be a bit boring, slow and inbalanced (in the sense that you're too weak or too strong). And sometimes thrown out into a world and the game only starts once you go and spend ages looking for the right even to tell you what to do. A good needs to draw you in and hold your attention. A good game will have a very good beginning, and will keep you there even when it starts to get a little boring. As for scripts, I use what I think should have been there in the first place: Dube's AMS, pixelmovement, autoscroll etc. My favourite battle system is RMXP's default (oooh flame me). And finally as for the story, well I'm not too fussy in that department.

Broken Messiah 20 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 I like the battle system in Al'alsaugaia(?). Its like the epic version of the dbs. Yanfly's Engine Melody could be all you ever need for a game. :alright:
Razor 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2011 What makes a good game into a great game, in my opinion, is replayability. I've played a lot of good games in my life, but there are a few that I have beaten dozens of times. Why would I play a game over and over again? Because the game is still fun even years after I first played it. I think a good RPG, or a good game in general, will have a degree of replayability. If someone can beat your game a dozen times and still enjoy playing it, you know you've made a great game.
