Meteor Rain 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2011 Well, now I've been working on a fantasy MMORPG made my RMXP. First I was like: Yipeeh! Then more like Yay... After that Meh Adventually ... Now I really just don't want to continue on my game. Any suggestions or something? Should I just continue, or stop it?
0 madanchi 18 Report post Posted March 16, 2011 the main reason people usually lose interest when making their game are down to a few things Lack of feedback from other people (show your progress in a topic helps - not sure if you have or not) Storyline after a while can seem stagnant to you personally, so try to spice thigns up by changing it or adding new characters/ elements to the game Dont work on the same map for a million years Take a breather from your game, if you get bored, completely stopping for a little while can help reactivate motivation for your game when you come back to it after the break - I suppose that applies to anything really 1 Marked reacted to this
0 Marked 197 Report post Posted March 17, 2011 You should stop... Or, start over. Somehow you need to get the passion back. You have to enjoy making it. Also, you could post the demo (if you have not already) and get inspired by peoples feeback.

After that
Meh
Adventually

Now I really just don't want to continue on my game.
Any suggestions or something? Should I just continue, or stop it?
