The Newbie Intro

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around this forum for quite sometime, but I think now's the best time to introduce myself :P

 

My real name is Guinevere, but you can call me "Mochipaw" or "Mochi" or "Guin" (whatever works ^_^) and I'm 24 (yes.. i'm that old :blink:). I am from Indonesia and have just decided to re-attempt to learn using RPGMaker and then about "Game Programming" (in the long run). I studied Computer Science at my Uni but somehow works as a Graphic Designer (due to my hobby, which I *thought* I love more than developing a game).

 

I found this forum from Googling an RPGMaker community, I did found some forums but I felt that this one is the most comfortable for me :)

 

Currently my hobbies includes cooking, singing, Playing my acoustic guitar, graphic design, and video games.. (duh!)

I'm interested in Game Programming, Drawing, and Photography.

 

Self recognition wise, I feel that I am a friendly person but can also have a laugh. Most people told me that I am very cheerful in real life, yet, when I need to be serious I can.

 

Random stuff about me: 5'4", Jet black hair, dark brown eyes (typical of an Asian like me, my avatar kinda resembles me, but without the big eyes :blink: ), a lil bit on the chubby side, Loves chibi characters, Cannot draw with my hands but i can draw with my trackpad/mouse.(that's why I really need to learn drawing _ _'' )

 

My reason to join here is because I know that I'll need a LOT of help learning this on my own. And I actually wanted to learn the whole aspects of Class Title there is. You can say "Jill of all trades, but master of (at least) one" :biggrin_002:

 

Oh, and I use RPGMaker XP because when I was planning to buy VX, i surfed around the net to compare VX and XP. In the end I chose XP as the subject I want to learn, even tho I love the look of VX's sprite ^^.

 

Ooookay, that's what I have so far, and I hope I can learn much and contribute useful things (if I have) to this forum! :alright:

@madanchi: Yay! So I shouldn't worry about a thing then..:P Can't wait to learn all these things from experts like you guys. :yes:

 

@Polraudio: Well, I usually do photo editing and photo manipulation as well as designing logo, business cards, etc. But because I can't sketch (yet!), I rarely make any illustration.. :sweatdrop:
