I know that this is not ideal, but it will fix the MySQL problems we are having. It seems like as soon as we start to get moving with the forum, something always comes and gets in the way. I just finished transferring the files to my computer, and just started uploading them to the other server. Luckily the old account is on another server. I am sorry about the inconvenience. Marked 197 Report post Posted April 29, 2007 It is not internet explorer. Leon actually told me he gets no problem using internet explorer. I use firefox, it is definitely not the browser. 110mb.com has told me that there will be MySQL problems until registrations are closed. I have another host. Not 110mb.com! But it will take me atleast another 2 days before i can get an account, at the fastest. But there is another problem, I cannot get into our database. The last database backup was on the 10th of April since they made it so i could not export the whole thing, only tables. I cant wait to get off this host! I just hope I will be able to. I am thinking about closing down the forums for three days, until the forums can at least operate properly. This is just unacceptable. I am working my fastest though. Are you talkin about 110 registrations or registrations on this site. Because I know 110's is close I've been trying to set a site up on there just because I want to see some things. Marked 197 Report post Posted April 30, 2007 I meant that on 110mb.com, the hosting service, the MySQL problems will continue until registrations on box 9, our box, are closed off. Even after I manage to get an account, It will take me another couple of days, or one entire day of work to get the forums up again. I have no problem with doing the work, it just means that we have to put up with the forums working incorrectly that much longer. This means there will be a lot of delays. I will not start the Academy, or finish the skin(No mods work with it yet, and some images are still missing), until we are comfortably at a new host. I worked out everything i have to do. So we are looking at 4-5 days from now. At the absolute very best. I still have to find a way to get a hold of the database yet. That could be very difficult. If I can get the database today, I may be able to finish everything by the end of the day. That is quite unlikely though. EDIT: Transfer complete! All problems should be solved. After I refreshed the page a couple of times, it has worked fine ever since. With any luck, I will remove those menus because I am thinking about integrating the forums with the website. And, now its 47.6 % of our visitors which use Internet Explorer. I'm not happy now. I've started working on getting this fixed. I'm working my fastest. Marked 197 Report post Posted May 20, 2007 Yeah. I have decided to remove the home button because I will work on the website later. Possibly never. It depends if it will benefit us. It turns out, the way I did the html for menus made it mess up in IE. The funny thing is that I think the menus were made for IE. I also fixed the logging out problem. So, topic closed.
