The Inquisitor tilesets

Recommended Posts

Ok so this is a very simple request. I have looked everywhere for these files since I got my new computer but all the download links that I find are corrupted or the files downloaded is corrupt. I really want the interior, exterior and world map tile sets by Inquisitor. If someone can mail them to me either on rmxp unlimited or to my email, I'd greatly appreciate it.

thanks, that was very helpful, now, does anyone know how to make the red mountains and the sand as well as the different water shades??? I have been trying for the past 72 hours and I can´t find it anywhere on the tileset, so I am guessing it´s hidden in plain sight and I just don´t know how to do it.

Within the tileset there is only one set of mountains, and their color is Blue, kinda rocky, but if you look at the map the Inquisitor made, he has the same type of mountains but in a brownish color. That´s what I am aiming for. Also, if you look at his map, you can see he has different shades of blue to recreate the sea at it´s different depths, however, I can´t seem to find those color shades anywhere within the tileset. I am guessing it´s probably something I have to edit with the RMXp tools, but I just can´t figure out how to do it, and I am afraid of experimenting too much and deleting the tileset altogether. It took me like a day to get the settings of that tileset going.

The mountains you are talking about are an autotile. Here is the link I always use to aquire inquisitors resources, this links has a demo, and included in it are the auto tiles for the world map. There is also a demo for both the interior and exterior tilesets. I suggest downloading the demos of each, since it comes with the autotiles and is setup with the walking flags etc.

Here is the link to RPG Palace, where you can find inquisitors tilesets.

Now as for the blue around the ocean, that is a little tricky. The first time I used the tileset I actually had to use a youtube video to understand how to do it, but now it is second nature. The water tiles you are talking about (the ones needed to nicely shade the edges of the water) are right near the top of the tileset. There are a bunch of different colored land with edged water around each one, the edges around the land are the ones you will need to use to shade the ocean/lakes/rivers etc. Each water shading is the same, so no need to match it to your ground color.

Hope this helped, cheers.

Inquisitor released an extra add-on to the tilesets I believe, you might want to check on RPG-palace which is where he had intiailly uploaded them in the first place. The world map tileset actually had numerous mountains, infact one of them I believe was an autotile which had the red-brown color to it. Like I said before check where it was uploaded to begin with.

Off topic silightly, anyone know if RPG-palace still has an active community? I know the downloads pages still work as I still find myself browsing them on a rare occasion.

Lol? Beat ya to it RageMage.

Not entirely sure if they are 'active' but I think so, they had five members join today alone.

Guys, thanks for the help, I just found on one of my many downloads of the inquisitor´s tileset, the autotiles used for the mountains and the water, I can´t thank you enough, I was not sure of what I needed and with your help I was able to at least find out what it was I needed to make it work.
